Warung Roadside recreates Bangkok’s incredible street food scene right in the heart of NYC. Using ingredients from Thailand, local organic produce, and quality meat, Warung Roadside offers the freshest and most authentic Thai food that elevates the exotic flavors of Bangkok with each bite. While crowd favorites like Holy Basil Stir Fry and Bangkok Street Style Pad Thai are mainstays on the menu, Warung Roadside is always offering up a rotation of weekly Thai specials featuring seasonal ingredients, and made for your on-the-go convenience. What started as a small Pad Thai push cart operating in the back of a bar has grown into a thriving food truck business that has been nominated for a Vendy award and has been featured in Eater, NY Post, AM New York and Gothamist.
Warung Roadside the creation of husband and wife Trevor Lombaer and Sutathip Aiemsaard. The couple met in Sutathip’s native Bangkok while Trevor was studying the local cuisine back in 2016. Trevor fell madly in love with the food and the girl, and the couple returned to the US on a mission to share this amazing experience and unique food with everyone. Inspired by the incredible push carts around Bangkok and the rest of Thailand, Trevor bought a used hot dog cart of Craigslist and converted it to a Pad Thai cart. As the business grew, they invested in a food truck which yielded long lines of Thai food enthusiasts from all over NYC.
