This week, the largest bike expo on the East Coast is returning to NYC! Bike Expo New York is a two-day convention happening on May 3rd and 4th at Basketball City (299 South Street), and it’s completely free and open to the public. You can expect over one hundred exhibitors, from local innovators to big companies, introducing their newest ideas and merchandise. You can expect some great giveaways, contests, product demos, and other entertainment. You can also check out all the latest designs in bike wear and gear. If you’re an experienced biker looking to find the perfect aerodynamic swag for your next cross-country mountain trip, or if you’re just a regular New Yorker that loves to bike around and wants to meet other bikers, then be sure to stop by the Bike Expo.
Bike Expo organizers know how tiring biking can get, so they reached out to us with a straightforward request - to bring the best food trucks in NYC to feed all of the hungry visitors. The entire NYFTA team brainstormed and came out with a list of vendors, who are going to bring various cuisines. Empire BBQ NYC (BBQ) is going to have the juiciest smoked ribs and burgers, Big D’s (Asian-Fusion) and El Toro Rojo (Mexican), will serve their regular menu as well as vegan options, and Neapolitan Express (Pizza), Souvlaki GR (Greek) and Wafels & Dinges (Belgian Wafels) will serve their regular menu as well as vegetarian options.
We’re looking forward to seeing all our fellow foodies this Friday and Saturday! Keep calm and bike on :)
