Bryant park in the summer… people chatting their lunch hour away, and someone playing Sinatra on a public piano not too far off. The sights and sounds of the city in the summertime are unmatched… but wait, we smell something too.
Not the kind of smell you would normally expect in Manhattan during the dog days of summer, it’s heaven. Like a shining beacon of empanada glory, the Empanada Sonata appears. Without hesitation we order the Cuban Jibarito – and an undisclosed number of Nuttella and banana Empanadoughs… The rest is history.
Now take note, this truck is anything but seasonal – and as we head into the cooler months we’re already got visions of strawberry cheesecake, and jerk chicken empanadas dancing in our heads. Find them for lunch tomorrow at @theempanadasonata – or book them for your next event with us.
